PatasPatas Terms of Service

PatasPatas is an adoption discovery and matchmaking service. We help approved organizations publish adoptable pets and help adopters discover and express interest in those pets.

PatasPatas is not an animal shelter, rescue, breeder, veterinary provider, adoption agency, escrow service, or party to any adoption agreement. Each shelter or rescue owns its own adoption process, screening, decisions, fees, meetings, contracts, and post-adoption support.

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and for activity under your account.

If you use PatasPatas for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization and to submit organization, pet, contact, adoption, and verification information.

You may not impersonate another person or organization, submit false information, interfere with the service, scrape the service, or use PatasPatas for unlawful, abusive, misleading, or commercial pet-sale activity.

Organizations must be shelters, rescues, veterinary rehoming programs, or adoption groups operating in a rescue or adoption capacity. Adoption fees must support animal care, transport, shelter, rescue, or adoption operations.

Organizations must provide truthful information about their organization, pets, locations, medical status, sterilization, vaccinations, fees, and adoption process.

Organizations must follow humane-care practices, post only pets available through their organization, avoid duplicate or misleading listings, and remove or update pets that are no longer available.

Organizations may not use PatasPatas to sell animals, promote breeding, post graphic or distressing images, collect inappropriate fees, or discriminate unlawfully against adopters.

When adopters create a profile or show interest in a pet, they are responsible for submitting truthful and current information.

Showing interest in a pet lets the caring organization review the adopter profile and contact information for that adoption conversation.

Adopters are responsible for deciding whether to proceed with any shelter, meeting safely, asking questions, reviewing adoption terms, and complying with applicable laws.

A match or expression of interest is an introduction, not an approval, reservation, guarantee, or completed adoption.

After an introduction, adopters and organizations may continue the adoption process off platform. PatasPatas does not control response times, adoption outcomes, fees, refunds, transport, medical care, behavior, or suitability of any pet or adopter.

You keep ownership of text, photos, and other content you submit, but you give PatasPatas permission to host, copy, resize, display, translate, and share that content as needed to operate and promote the service.

You must have the rights and permissions needed to submit content. We may remove content that appears inaccurate, unsafe, infringing, abusive, graphic, discriminatory, or inconsistent with these Terms.

PatasPatas may review shelter applications, verification references, organization details, animal categories, and other controlled changes before approving access or expanded posting scope.

Approval to use PatasPatas is not permanent. We may suspend, limit, remove, or require additional review for an organization when needed to protect users, pets, shelters, platform integrity, or legal compliance.

PatasPatas uses account, profile, pet, organization, verification, and interaction data to operate the service, support adoption introductions, prevent abuse, and maintain platform safety.

Adopter profile information is shared with a shelter or rescue only when the adopter takes an action that creates an adoption introduction for a pet connected to that organization.

You may request account support or deletion through the support channels provided in the app. Deleting an account may remove related profile, organization, listing, and adoption-interest records where required by the service design and applicable law.

We may review, reject, edit, hide, suspend, or remove accounts, listings, interests, matches, or organizations when needed to protect users, pets, shelters, platform integrity, or legal compliance.

We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service, including eligibility rules, listing requirements, verification workflows, and safety workflows.

PatasPatas is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, successful matches, adopter responses, pet availability, adoption approval, pet health, pet behavior, or the accuracy of user-submitted content.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PatasPatas is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for disputes, losses, injuries, fees, contracts, or outcomes arising from off-platform adoption interactions.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The updated date will show when the Terms were last revised.
